Sending Missionaries Around the World
Linda
In our modern technological age authorities from countries hostile to the proclamation of the blessed gospel use the internet to prevent God's mission to the lost. Due to her traveling to countries that are not open to evangelism, Linda likes to limit her name on the web . Therefore, we will not be using her full name or contact information.
Linda serves under EFCA International Mission coordinating short-term missions around the world, helping long-term missionaries reach long-term goals through the use of short-term teams. Her responsibilities include set-up with the fields, and recruiting, screening and training the teams. She is involved in curriculum development for materials for teams to use in teaching English overseas. She and her colleagues are available to assist local churches in mission development and deployment, expanding short-term programs, and training teams for effective short-term service on the mission field.

Reaching Children Around the World
CEF
For almost 70 years, God has been using Child Evangelism Fellowship to bring the love of Jesus Christ to children around the world. The Word of God puts a high priority on children. They are near to God's heart and we believe that He is uniquely concerned about their spiritual welfare. Without the foundation of a relationship with God and training in Biblical principles for life, they are unequipped to face what life will throw at them.
With workers in 156 countries around the world, CEF has personal, individual ministry with more than 6 million children each year. God has given us a passion to not only bring children into a right relationship with God, but to disciple them in His Word and establish them in Bible teaching churches so that they can become mature in their faith.
CEF is here to train, equip, and encourage believers to help children know who Jesus Christ is and give them the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Savior. The Olympic Peninsula Chapter, which includes Jefferson and Clallam counties, endeavors to reach children through Good News Clubs, 5- Day Clubs, and at the county fairs. CEF also trains young people at Christian Youth in Action 9 (for one week during the summer) to be able to share the Gospel with children and their peers. Currently there are 6 Good News Clubs being taught weekly on the peninsula; three of these are in the public school. On the peninsula, there are 18 public elementary schools. It is our chapter's desire to have a Good News Club in every school.
During the school year, volunteer teacher/helpers are needed to teach GNCs at the public schools. Training is provided for those willing to teach. During the summer, volunteers are needed to help staff the CEF Tent at the county fair. Many opportunities to share the message of salvation with fair goers and especially the children are available.
Church Planting in Brussels
Dan & Carrie Ritzman
Dan and Carrie along with their boys Jeremie and Nathaniel are currently serving in Brussels, Belgium as church planting missionaries among Muslim background immigrants. They are using a number of ways to reach into this long-standing immigrant community including Outreach English Classes, distribution of Bibles and literature, and one-on-one contact through friends and friends of friends. During the last couple of years, a refugee group of believers has emerged from a series of investigative Bible studies. They now meet twice a month for worship and weekly for Bible study. Dan is also the Brussels City Team Leader for the EFCA-International Mission.

Enrique & Becky Fernández
The Fernandez’ started 2006 with a renewed awareness of having been called by the Lord to spend our lives in the lives of others, especially those who are serving in church planting or pastoral ministries in Latin America and the Hispanic community in the U.S. They are called to develop a new generation of Christian leaders, who will strengthen the Church of Latin America, by promoting biblical truth, reproducing themselves into other leaders, implement new ministry models, and extend God’s Kingdom through the planting of relevant church planting movements.

Training Leaders In Manila
The Johnson’s
Vance, Carol, David and Mark Johnson are serving with the Evangelical Free Church of America-International Mission.
Vance and Carol have been working with the Evangelical Free Church of the Philippines in establishing a leadership development center called "The Evangelical Theological College of the Philippines." ETCP is in its nineteenth year of operation and currently has an enrollment of about 90 students. Most of the graduates enter churches as either pastors or kindergarten/pre-school teachers. We have also worked with assisting church planting/strengthening efforts and are currently shifting the emphasis of our work to this area, especially to rural church planting. Carol has also been involved in teaching at the small school we helped start for the children of missionaries, Joy Christian Academy.

Caring for Unborn Children and Their Parents
Pregnancy and Family Resource Services
Our heart and mission is to minister to the needs of pregnant girls who are struggling to find hope with an unplanned pregnancy, and for families who just do not have enough finances to cover the needs of their infant to toddler children. We are also providing youth and adults study materials and tuition for their state official General Education Degree (GED) tests, in an effort of building stronger and healthier families. We strive to provide an atmosphere where anyone from any background or social economic situation can come and feel unconditional compassion and hope, as we ourselves, have been given by our Lord Jesus Christ. We are here to serve the needs of our community through material needs, spiritual guidance and educationally. We hope you will hold each one of our families, the sanctity of the unborn, staff and volunteers in prayer.
